The International Physical Fitness Association (IFPA) is one of the most respected fitness certification organizations in the world. With a presence in over 50 countries, IFPA has certified tens of thousands of fitness professionals globally.
IFPA's certifications are NCCA-accredited — the same accreditation body that accredits certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Certification Process
A clear path from enrollment to international certification.
Complete the Course
144-hour integrated curriculum — 72 hours of guided theory and 72 hours of hands-on practical training over 10 weeks.
Pass the Exam
2.5-hour NCCA-accredited examination covering anatomy, physiology, program design, nutrition, and special populations.
Score 70% or Higher
Passing threshold of 175 out of 250 marks across written exams, viva, practicals, assignments, and skillset demonstration.
Receive IFPA Certification
Internationally recognized IFPA Certified Personal Trainer credential, valid for 2 years.
Maintain with CEUs
Renew every 2 years with 2.0 Continuing Education Units (20 hours equivalent) to stay current with industry science.
